A lot of manga series are ending and some of them are pretty big titles too.
New Series Announcements
- Sekai Saisoku no Level Up (The World’s Fastest Level Up): Atsushi Suzumi (Venus Versu Virus) will launch the new series on June 25.
- Shinyaku Kani Kosen (The Crab Cannery Ship: New Testament): Launching on June 11, the new series will be made by Shigemitsu Harada and Shinjiro. It is labeled as a modern remake of the communist proletarian novel Kani Kosen by Takiji Kobayashi (1929) that was banned by the Imperial Japanese government at the time and tells the story of crab boat workers whose labor is exploited.

Series Ending Report
- Akashick Records of Bastards Magic Instructor: Aosa Tsunemi’s manga adaptation of Taro Hitsuji’s light novel series will end on June 25.
- Fate/Grand Order – mortalis:stella: Shiramine’s manga ended its “First Singularity” and will publish a spinoff chapter on July 28. The manga’s 3rd volume is set to release this summer.
- Kaitei: Yukinobu Hoshino’s manga’s 9th volume will be the last and will ship in late September.
- Kenki Koiuta ~Re:Zero kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu † Shimeitan~: Tsubata Nozaki’s manga spinoff centered on Wilhelm has just published its final chapter.
- Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World – The Frozen Bond: Minori Tsukahara’s manga adaptation of the anime of the same name will end on June 6 with the third part of the 14th chapter.
- Maesetsu!: Hato Kannazuki’s manga (Which is based on the television anime series of the same name) just published its final chapter. The 2nd volume of the manga is set for a June 23 release.
- Monstaboo: Yuya Takahashi and TALI’s manga has published its last chapter and the 4th and final volume will ship on July 25.
- Sakura Taisen Dainibu (Sakura Wars Part II): Ikku Masa’s manga will end on the 9th volume which will ship together with the 8th volume on June 17. The manga has not published a new volume since July of 2018.
- Tokyo Revengers: Ken Wakui’s manga will enter its final arc on June 2.
- Watashi no Kizu wa Shindemo Kesanai (My Wounds don’t Close Even when I Die): Tatsuhiko Hikagi’s manga published its final chapter recently with the manga’s 3rd and final volume shipping on June 23.
- Zettai Karen Children: Takashi Shiina’s manga is ending soon after 16 years of publication. The exact date is uncertain but Shiina did state that he has already written the afterword for the final chapter and had previously made comments about the manga this year.
