As part of the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Project Ignited initiative (Which commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Seed series) that launches next year, a new manga has been announced titled Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Eclipse (Pictured above). The manga is a side story set in Cosmic Era 72 between the series Seed and Seed Destiny and will focus on a “hollow unit” known as ODR. Atsushi Soga is drawing the manga while SOW is credited with the story. The manga is set to launch on July 26 in Kadokawa’s Gundam Ace magazine.
There are other Gundam series being launched as well. Kido Senshi Crossbone Gundam X-11 (Pictured above) will launch on Jun 26. It will be set within the time frame of Cross Born Gundam Dust and will show Curtis Rothko’s “Final Battle”; Yuichi Hasegawa is set to return to draw the manga.
Hiroyuki Tamakoshi is launching a new Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket series on June 26. The story will focus on Chris’ perspective.
Kido Senshi Gundam Pulitzer: Amuro Ray wa Kyokko no Kanata e will launch on August 26 and will center on Kikka Kobayashi collecting testimonies on Amuro Ray in UC 0095. Umetaro Saitani is drawing the manga while Chihiro Owaki is writing the story.
