My Hero Academia Season 4 Promo and Debut Date
The upcoming season is set to premiere on October 12 of this year on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. Funimation owns the license to the series in the West and will be streaming it as it airs.

Attack on Titan 4th Season Announced
The series’ final season has been announced for fall 2020 and will air on the NHK-General channel. The manga is also in its final arc and so it appears we are about to soon discover how one of the most popular current franchise will end and whether or not Isayama will stick to his intended ending or change things up for causal viewers.

Food Wars! Season 4 Announced
Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki’s manga is getting a 4th season that will debut this October. As the manga has currently ended, it is possible that this season will also conclude the anime.

Blade of the Immortal Anime Confirmed
Kodansha announced that Hiroaki Samura’s Blade of the Immortal will be adapted into an anime and that it will be a complete adaptation.

Interspecies Reviewers Anime Confirmed
Amahara and masha’s manga will be adapted into an anime series set to premiere in winter of 2020. Yuki Ogawa is directing and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is handling series composition at Passione.

If it’s for my Daughter, I’d even Defeat a Demon Lord will premiere on July 4th; it was additionally confirmed that the series will have 12 episodes. Do you Love your Mom and her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? will premiere on July 12. Magical Sempai will premiere on July 2. How Heavy are the Dumbbells you Lift? will debut on July 3. A Certain Scientific Accelerator Premieres on July 12.

Comic Market’s New Schedule
It seems the Olympics is the gift that keeps on giving. Aside from causing additional calls for censorship and putting Japanese culture in the eyes of mainstream audiences and increasing Western pressure on the medium, it seems that Comiket 98 will now have to be held from May 2 – 5 instead of in August and that the event itself will have less space than usual as well. But it’s okay, I’m sure those few weeks of totally not rigged sporting events will be well worth all of this.
