The new OVA will be 3 episodes long and will ship on DVD and BD formats on December 24th, 2021; January 28th, 2022 and February 25th. It will also exclusively stream on U-NEXT in Japan on November 13th, 2021; December 11th and January 29th of 2022. Osamu Yamasaki (Returning director) is directing at Studio Deen.

Eden Zero recently suffered a setback after the tragic death of director Yuushi Suzuki (September 9th). However, after thanking fans for their support, the staff confirmed that the anime will continue.
