Naoshi Komi’s One Piece Cover
Naoshi Komi’s cover chapter of the One Piece manga has been made available in Weekly Shonen Jump’s 39th issue of the year and was also published in English. The chapter is called Vivi’s Adventure and covers an iconic scene of the Alabasta Arc.

Mamoru the Shadow Protector Resumes
Sai Madara’s manga adaptation of Taro Achi’s light novel series is resuming after a 6 year hiatus. The next chapter will be published on September 27 in Monthly Comic Alive.

New Series Announcements
- ?: A yet untitled work will soon be launched by manga creator Kazuo Umezu in January of 2022. It is the first work by the author in 26 years.
- Koisuru Hotaru to Kurashiteru (Let’s Stay Together): Mogusu is launching the new series on September 3 (On the comic Pool website) with a new chapter being released on the first Friday of each month. The story focuses on a young girl who begins to live with a classmate who is a lone downer but starts to change as they live together.
- Yougisha A no Hanayome (The Bride of Suspect A): Ema Toyama launched a new manga recently that has been dubbed an “erotic love suspense” centered on a woman whose husband dies and goes to live in an oppressive atmosphere with her parents until she hears of a marriage interview with a globally renowned artist named Aoi.

Series Ending Report
- Babel: Yugo Ishikawa published the last chapter of his manga and the 9th volume of the series will be released on September 30 with the 10th and final volume coming out on October 29.
- Soukyuu no Fafner – Dead Aggressor: Tomomi Matsushita’s manga adaptation of the entire Fafner franchise has just ended with the 9th volume scheduled for release either this fall or winter.
- Hankou Dekinai! Ibara-chan (Ibara-chan Can’t Rebel!): Aoi Fujiwara has published the last chapter of his manga with the manga’s 3rd volume coming out on October 26.
- Jinnai-ryuu Juujutsu Rurouden Majima, Bazeru!! (The Wandering Tale of Jinnai Style Juujutsu Master Majima Explodes!!): Makoto Niwano’s manga is ending in its 21st volume in October.
- Shin Kidou Senki Gundam W – G-Unit: Operation Galiarest: Koichi Tokita’s manga will end with its next chapter on September 25.
