Manga Plus Removes Language Restrictions

Shueisha’s Manga Plus service has announced that it is removing its region restrictions for languages; allowing readers to select their choice of language when using the service.

New Series Announcements

  • Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Jidouhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyuu ni Samayou): Hirukuma’s light novel series is being adapted into a manga whose publication starts on August 27. Kunieda is drawing.
  • Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. Yui (My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected. Connection): A new novel penned by Wataru Watari with Ponkan8 drawing the art. The novel comes out on September 17 and is labeled the first volume of a new series.
  • Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Han’you no Yasha Hime): A manga adaptation of the currently airing anime series is being made with Takashi Shiina; it will launch on September 25 in Shounen Sunday S. Shiina drew a celebratory illustration bringing together the main characters of Yashahime as well as his own Zettai Karen Children (Seen below).

Series Ending Report

  • Heavy Object: Kazuma Kamachi and NAGI’s light novel series will end with its 20th volume on October 8. The 19th volume is the first half of the series’ final arc.
  • Kiss x Sis: Bow Ditama’s Kiss x Sis manga will end in 2 chapters.
  • No Guns Life: Tasuku Karasuma’s manga ends on September 18 with its 13th volume.
  • Planet With: Satoshi Mizukami’s manga is entering its final arc.
  • Seitokai Yakuindomo: Tozen Ujiie’s manga will end with its 22nd volume in January of 2022; Weekly Shonen Magazine will publish the final chapter in November, ending the manga’s 15 year run.
  • Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose – Catastrophe at 16: Yo Asami’s manga adaptation of Takaya Kagami’s novel series will end with its 12th volume on February 4th, 2022.
