One Piece Approaching its End
It looks like even One Piece can end as it was recently announced that the manga is “headed toward the upcoming final arc”. No specifics beyond this vague statement were given, however. It did mention rereading the manga to “prepare for the climax” though. In September of 2019, Oda had mentioned that he wanted to end the manga in 5 years. Given that this would take us to 2024, the last arc is either going to be huge or the manga might end sooner than advertised.

Triage X… Continues?
Shoji Sato’s manga was stated to end with volume 21 but according to the author, it is going to continue on anyways. So expect more Triage X in the future.

New Series Licensed
In spite of current censorship and pressure on licensing companies and industry players, some interesting titles continue to be licensed: Seven Seas Entertainment has recently licensed Super HxEro manga (Volume 1 releases in North American on February 2021 for US$13.99) and Yen Press announced their license of Interspecies Reviewer (August 18, 2020).

New Series Announcements
- Burn the Witch: The Bleach spinoff series will have a 4 chapter run starting on August 24.
- Konna Watashi ni Kitaishinai de: New manga by Risumai (Shomin Sample) that begins serialization on August 27.
- Maesetsu!: Hato Kannazuki is drawing the manga adaptation of Kadokawa’s original anime series.
- Magical Explorer – I Reincarnated as the Friend Character in a Porn Game, But I Use the Walkthrough in my Brain to Live Free: A manga adaptation of Irisu’s novel that will be drawn by Yukari Higa.
- Orc Eiyuden Monogatari -Sontaku Retsuden-: Rifujin na Magonoto’s story is being adapted into manga form by Tsubakuro Shibata.
- Seven Deadly Sins: The Four Knights of the Apocalypse: Nakaba Suzuki’s popular manga The Seven Deadly Sins is getting a sequel series, though no further details have been given.

- Earth Invading Girl Asuka: Shinpei Ito’s manga just published its last chapter.
- Gundam Colony no Ochita Chi de: Umetaro Saitani’s manga will end on August 26.
- Oresuki: Are you the Only One Who Loves me?: Yu Ijima’s manga will end on August 23 on chapter 42.
- Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts: Yu Tomofuji’s manga will end in 5 chapters on October 5.
- Saga of Tanya the Evil: The manga itself is not ending; however, the 1st part of the series will end in August.
