Fate/ Franchise Manga News

Several new manga to the franchise have been announced: Fate/Type Redline (A remake by Ryoji Hirano of Keikenchi’s Koha Ace Go Teito Seihai Kitan manga), Fate/Grand Order From the Lostbelt (Anthology by Nakatani focusing on the Crypters) and Fate/Grand Order Eirei Shokubunroku (Cooking-focused manga by Makoto Tokoma).

Fate Grand Order Duel: YA Tokuiten: Misshitsu Yugi Makyo Shibuya : Shibuya Ketto Jiken has published its 12th and last chapter.

Jump Editor in Chief Over Changing Times

Hiroyuki Nakano has stated that nowadays, manga sales increase significantly after an anime ends (Like Demon Slayer), indicating that people watch anime through streaming rather than following weekly like they used to in the recent past. He also mentioned that it takes longer now for a Shonen Jump series to become a hit (Which he possibly attributes to there being more options available nowadays).

New Series Launching

  • A Certain Magical Index: Genesis Testament: The third installment of Kamachi’s novel series has launched in February.
  • Seiken Gakuin no Maken Tsukai: Yu Shimizu’s light novel series is being adapted into a manga that launched last November.

  • Attack on Titan: Hajime Isayama aims to finish his manga series in 2020, but has given no definite date.
  • Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Lancelot & Guren: The manga has entered its final arc.
  • Shaman King: Red Crimson: Jet Kusamura’s manga published its final chapter in January.
  • The Quintessential Quintuplets: Negi Haruba’s manga will end in 3 chapters.
  • The Seven Deadly Sins: Nakaba Suzuki’s manga will end in its 41st volume, set to ship on May 15.
