The two new subsidiaries (Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby and Bandai Namco Amusement) will be to handle toy, figure and model sales in China and for the investment into amusement establishments.

Japanese internet media company GREE and bilibili (Chinese streaming platform) have entered a partnership to pursue game apps and virtual Youtubers.

Funimation Makes Partners with Hulu

After ending their relationship with Crunchyroll, Funimation immediately went to establish ties with the more mainstream Hulu. The deal will give Hulu first pick at Funimation’s new titles in the United-States (Including some simuldubs). Hulu is aiming for 20 series per year at this point.
