Hanebad! Premiere Announced

Kosuke Hamada’s Hanebad! badminton manga is getting an anime adaptation that will debut in July on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, BS 11 and AT-X. Shinpei Ezaki will serve as director and Taku Kishimoto will handle the script.

Takagi-san OVA Announced

The ninth volume of the Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san manga will bundle an OVA of the series and is set for a July 10 – 12th release (Conflicting reports on the date).

HIDIVE News

The streaming service intends to stream Devil’s Line starting on April 7 as it airs in Japan and will begin streaming an English dub two weeks after. Sentai Filmworks licensed the Real Girl anime with plans to simulcast it in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Nordics, Spain, Portugal and Central as well as South America. The series will be streamed through HIDIVE starting on April 3.

Netflix Offers Poor Quality Dub for AICO

A.I.C.O. -Incarnation- is the latest Netflix series to be released on the service in both Japanese and with a dub. But apparently, unlike previous efforts, the English dub seems to have left fans cold this time around; many reporting poor quality. This can be seen from a number of forums and social media locations across the internet such as Anime News Network (Link 1 and Link 2), Reddit, My Anime List and Crunchyroll, to name a few.
