A manga based on Jane Austen’s Emma novel is being released on March 7 in France by Nobi Nobi.

A new French manga by Romain Lemaire is coming out on July 4. It is a dark fantasy about a young man trying to stop a war.

New Chapters for Yotsuba&! and Gamaran

Kiyohiko Azume’s Yousuba&! manga will see its 14th volume released on April 28, after a three year hiatus. Yosuke Nakamaru’s Gamaran manga will also see a return with a new chapter published on March 7.

Multiple Series Ending

  1. The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat: Okomeken’s manga adaptation of the light novel series will end with its eight volume, slated to ship on March 24.
  2. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Gekko: The final chapter will be published on March 26 and the fourth (And final) volume of the manga will be released on April 26.
  3. Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack Beltorchika’s Children: The manga’s last chapter will be released on March 26 while the seventh (And final) volume of the manga will be made available this summer.
  4. Sword Art Online: Progressive: The seventh and final volume will be released in May.
  5. Snack World: The manga’s second and final volume will ship on March 12.

New Kodansha USA Licenses

The manga publisher announced its license of Starving Anonymous (First volume coming out March 13), Perfect World (First volume coming out March 20) and Liar x Liar (First volume set for March 27) for digital distribution (Initially).

New Round of J-Novel Licenses

J-Novel Club just licensed the light novel series Infinite Stratos and The Unwanted Undead Adventurer set to launch in April.

Jujutsu Kaisen to be Previewed by Viz

VIZ’s digital English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump will publish the start of Jujutsu Kaisen at the same time as Japan does.

Manga Sales in Japan

Digital sales finally surpassed physical sales in Japan. Also, the market as a whole saw a 0.9% decrease; although analysts aren’t concerned as they attribute the fall to many hit series ending last year without new replacements to replace them.
