Dragon Ball Franchise Profitability
Notes: The Toei chart is in millions of yen while the Bandai one is in billions of yen.
For analysis’ sake, Dragon Ball Super started in 2015. With these numbers, I think the theory that Super is being put on hiatus until the movie is over (As opposed to being cancelled) holds some truth as it seems unlikely any company would simply let that amount of cash go away. Whether or not that means a Super revival later down the line or an entirely new series is anyone’s guess though.
