More Digimon tri Coming to Home video

Shout! Factory has just announced that it will release Digimon tri. Loss (4th film) on DVD and BD on April 24th.

Out of Print Notice

Fate/Zero Set 2 Limited Editon (DVD), Oreimo 2 Complete Box Set Limited Edition (DVD), Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movie -Rebellion- (DVD) and Garden of Sinners Boxed Set (BD) are now out of print and out of stock and Aniplex has no intentions of making more for now.

Rating for Batman Ninja

The upcoming anime movie that re-imagines the batmanverse in Japan’s samurai era has been confirmed with a disappointing PG -13 rating. While its not that big of a disappointment, fans had hoped for a darker Batman in anime form and PG-13 can be pretty restrictive, especially for a story about samurai.

Digital Release of SAO Movie

Aniplex has been “gracious” enough to offer a more “budget friendly” option in the form of a digital release for Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale. The movie can be purchased through iTunes, Vudu and Microsoft Store with upcoming releases on Playstation Video and Amazon Video.

Manga Assistant Controversy Development

Shunsuke Kakuishi, who had previously protested industry conditions by requesting backpay for work he did as an assistant, has confirmed that he actually received the compensation for his overtime from Norifusa Mita (Part of it anyway). According to Shunsuke, other staff members received similar compensations.
