Nippon Ichi to Focus on PS4 and Switch

Sohei Nikawa, president of Nippon Ichi Software, revealed that his company is focusing on the Playstation 4 and the Switch going forward with intent to make new games as well as new additions to existing franchises. The move is to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary and accompanies plans for more releases this year.

Disgaea 5 Complete (Nintendo Switch) has sold nearly 200 000 copies, according to Nippon Ichi president Sohei Nikawa.

Age Rating for Ni no Kuni II

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has received an age rating of “T” by the ESRB instead of the previous game’s “E 10+”. It’s good to know the company is simply taking the higher age rating instead of cutting content to meet arbitrary standards established by ESRB.

The Switch has surpassed the Wii U’s lifetime sales of 3 301 555 (In Japan) by reaching  3 407 158 as of this week.
