In its latest bid to entice tourists, the Tochigi Prefecture had its idol group, Marronni ? Yell meet historical figure Shimotsuke no Komaro. Marronni ? Yell is a fictional idol group and was created solely to advertise the city and is perhaps a testament to the power of both idols and anime in the country and on the international stage as this latest campaign also involves an anime short for which the trailer will be shown bellow:
