It was recently announced that a new anime for the Higurashi: When They Cry game franchise has been green lit. The new series will be animated by Passione.

The Irregular at Magic High School Season 2 Details

The new series will adapt the Visitor Arc of Tsutomu Satou’s novels with Risako Yoshida as director. The series is set for a July premiere.

Netflix is Dubbing Saint Seiya

Netflix has just added 32 more episodes of their new dub of Saint Seiya (Episodes 42 – 73). It is unknown if Netflix intends to continue their release beyond this point but if they do, it would mark the first time the series has been dubbed this far in North America. The episodes are also available subtitled.

Anime Episode Counts Revealed

Show by Rock!! Mashumairesh!! is listed with 12 episodes (6 DVD/BD volumes of 2 episodes each that start shipping on March 18 with another volume shipping each subsequent month). Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica is being listed with 13 episodes (With 5 DVD/BD volumes); given that it was earlier reported to have 26 episodes, it is possible this is just referring to the first cour of a split cour release. In/Spectre has been confirmed with 12 episodes (4 DVD and BD volumes with 3 episodes each that will ship once a month starting on March 25). Darwin’s Game has been confirmed with 11 episodes (With 6 home video releases).
