Editor’s Observation

I have warned fans that as anime becomes more mainstream it would start to severely affect its content and now it is starting to materialize. We finally see that as anime enters the various international markets, it needs additional censorship, more than it previously needed. With the home market having declining numbers and America, China, South Korea, the Middle-East and Europe having made 1984-style censorship their hobby, as well as foreign companies from America and China directly investing in the Japanese market, it should become clear the industry is heading towards disaster sooner rather than later.
