Madman’s anime division (Australian anime distributor that also operates in New Zealand) has recently been sold to Aniplex (Sony) for a sum of AU$35 million.
I have contacted Madman and specifically asked them if their policy regarding pricing for Aniplex titles would change going forward; a Madman representative responded that no, they are not changing their pricing policy and added that business would continue as usual.
