Following the news that a brand new dub was being made for both Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny‘s HD remaster BD releases, we learned that the western release would also include both dubs (Original and new).
Since then I have inquired with Rightstuf about the versions that would be available on the released sets and they have informed me that they have not yet decided to make any announcements regarding whether or not the original version of both series will be released with the new HD remasters. But they did inform me that if they were to release the original version alongside the HD remaster, only the Ultra set would bundle both together.
For reference, the HD remaster, which Rightstuf will be releasing, is a new version of both Seed and Seed Destiny with most of the recaps removed, added scenes, redone animation and re-recorded dialogue. Whereas the original version is the series has it was presented on TV when it first came out (And subsequent home video releases).
