Precure Franchise was Once on Shaky Ground
Fresh Precure’s head writer, Atsushi Maekawa, has shared some rather interesting information when he said:
Fresh was a new experimental work, and it was my first time participating in the series, so it was a case of trial and error over and over again. If Fresh had failed, the series would’ve ended there. If it was a success, it would’ve continued forever … that was the high hurdle.
What I want to say is that, it’s because of us that the series has continued. No, it’s because of all the fans who have watched the series!
It’s interesting to know just how fragile such a massive franchise once was.

Yoshikazu Yasuhiko Believes his Anime Career is Over
Director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko has recently revealed that Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin will be his last anime. It seems the director has decided that his career within animation has come to an end.
