Streaming: Japan vs. America

Here are the three most popular streaming platforms in Japan and America:

Japan:

-Amazon Prime (56.9%)

-Hulu (25.4%)

-Netflix (17.7%)

America:

-Netflix (50%)

-Amazon Prime (29%)

-Hulu (14%)

Interesting how different the choices of both countries can be and it seems obvious that Americans and Japanese viewers are not on the same page when it comes to streaming.

45th Annie Awards Follow Oscars’ Lead

No anime ended up winning, of course. Once again, super corporations dominated and anime got shafted but of course we knew this. We knew because we know these events have nothing to do with quality and everything to do with which company is backing you. Honestly, I wonder why people even bother with these self-aggrandising award ceremonies. Anime produces a great deal of movies every year and produces quality work indeed yet we are to believe not a single one of them makes the cut but everything Disney touches instantly turns to gold; I mean, come on.
