Iori Miyazawa’s Urasekai Picnic novel has a manga adaptation that will launch on February 10th. The first chapter will be 92 pages long and feature a color opening page.

The manga adaptation of the movie Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare ended on December 25th and it has just been announced that a manga adaptation of the movie Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter is launching on January 25th.

Declining Sales for Physical Manga and Novels

Sales of manga in physical form declined by 12% in 2017 and both magazine as well as manga combined suffered a collective 10% decrease. Books on the other hand only suffered a 3% decrease. Before people start freaking out, remember that most fans like to read their manga and magazines online now. So its not that manga is dying, just that company will have to get used to distributing them through a new method.
