Super Retro Boy Player Shelved

The “super game boy” claimed to be compatible with Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advanced games (Which was also said to have a 10 hour battery life) has become a no-show and is on indefinite hold thanks to the usual suspect: Nintendo. To avoid a legal quagmire, they have decided to halt production of their device. As Anime News Network points out, it may be a smart move since we are talking a company that relentlessly threatens its own fanbase with legal repercussions (They shut down fan projects for Pokémon, Metroid, Zelda and Mario) so imagine what they’d do to a corporate rival.
