Project Anima Announced

Companies DeNA, Sotsu and Nippon Cultural Broadcasting have announced a collaboration project (Project Anima; visual pictured above) which involves releasing 3 separate anime of different genres in 2020. The projects will take applications from the public for ideas in the form of novels, manga drafts, illustrations, scripts, videos and others… The first anime is set to focus on sci-fi and robots as central themes while the second anime will be centered on fantasy themes.

Animators not Getting Paid at Production IMS

Teru Miyazaki claimed on Monday that Production IMS was not paying animators and advised fellow animators to not seek employment with the studio unless they are willing to work for free. Since then, the tweet has been deleted.
